One of UK’s most respected medical lawyers made member partner

Moore Blatch is delighted to announce that it has promoted highly respected serious injury lawyer Trevor Sterling to member partner.

With a special interest in major trauma cases, Trevor is well known for working on high profile cases with substantial national significance; he was co-lead lawyer on behalf of 60 Jimmy Saville child abuse victims, has represented a number of Thalidomide victims, and currently represents individuals injured in the Croydon tram crash.

Trevor, who joined Moore Blatch in 2015, has over thirty years’ experience in the legal profession. He appears regularly as a legal expert on TV and radio and has written for several publications including The Independent and the Law Society Gazette. In 2008, he received the Bar and Law Society’s ‘Rising Star: Advocate In the Face of Adversity’ award.

Damian Horan, senior partner and head of litigation services, Moore Blatch said: “Trevor Sterling is recognised as one of the UK’s foremost serious injury lawyers and as such we’re delighted to welcome him to our senior team.”

Trevor Sterling said: “When I left school at 17, few would have predicted that I’d become member partner at one of the UK’s leading law firms. My route into law has been far from conventional, though I hope my experience inspires others – no matter their background – to do the same.”

Outside of work, Trevor is chairman of the Mary Seacole Trust, the charity responsible for erecting the first statue of a black woman in the UK.  He is also vice-chair of brain injury charity, Headway South West London.
