Moore Blatch’s Senior Partner named Special Ambassador for the Child Brain Injury Trust

Damian Horan, Senior Partner at national law firm Moore Blatch, has been selected to become a Special Ambassador for the Child Brain Injury Trust – the UK’s leading national charity for people affected by childhood brain injury.

The appointment recognises the extensive support that Damian and Moore Blatch have given to the Child Brain Injury Trust over the past five years, including three years as a Legal Support Service provider for the charity.

As a Special Ambassador for the Trust, Damian will play an important strategic role. This will include advising on campaigns and events and supporting innovation in the Trust’s work.

Damian is one of only four individuals to be recognised with this honour, the Trust’s first group of official Special Ambassadors.

Moore Blatch has a close relationship with the Trust, and the firm is committed to ensuring that families supported by the Trust benefit from Moore Blatch’s expertise in complex child brain injury cases. Moore Blatch offers a range of services to individuals affected by childhood brain injury, including working to get children access to the education they require and receive the welfare benefits they are entitled to.

The Child Brain Injury Trust is the only national charity in the UK offering support for the whole family for as long as they need it. Their unique way of working with clinicians from hospitals, community rehabilitation services, and professionals such as Moore Blatch lawyers, allows clinicians to focus on the needs on the child, whilst CBIT and Moore Blatch help families to plan effectively for the future.

Damian Horan, Senior Partner at Moore Blatch, said:

“I am delighted and honoured to have been asked to become a Special Ambassador for the Child Brain Injury Trust. The Trust does an incredible job in supporting vulnerable children and families, and I am privileged to be able to play a part in their work.

“We at Moore Blatch value our partnership with the Child Brain Injury Trust enormously, and I look forward to using my new role to extend our innovative support services for people affected by childhood brain injuries.”

Lisa Turan, Chief Executive Officer at the Child Brain Injury Trust, said:

“I am very excited to be welcoming Damian as one of the Child Brain Injury Trust’s first official Special Ambassadors. Damian and Moore Blatch have been exceptional supporters of the Trust for many years, and we are pleased that he has agreed to expand his role with the Trust.”
