Six figure sum obtained for serious orthopaedic injuries sustained in road traffic accident
Moore Blatch acted for a client involved in a road traffic accident. The client sustained serious orthopaedic injuries including a fractured scaphoid (one of the carpel tunnel bones in the wrist). The Defendant denied that the fractured scaphoid was anything to do with the accident and were only initially prepared to pay compensation for the leg injuries. The issue as to whether the fractured scaphoid was caused by the accident went to trial and the court ruled in the client’s favour and Moore Blatch won £125,000 for the client in personal injury compensation.
