Injury in a rented villa in Florida

We were successful in recovering £40,000 for a client who sustained an injury in a rental villa in Florida. He developed septicaemia which caused his prosthetic hip to become loose and thus require a further replacement. Liability was admitted and later denied but we were successful in obtaining judgment and concluded the claim on full liability. The court would not entertain the application to withdraw the admission due to the obvious prejudice to the Claimant.
