Fatal accident with an international element

Moore Blatch acted for the widow of a Kenyan gentleman who was killed in a road traffic accident near Bristol.

The deceased left a widow and 3 children living in Kenya. But for the accident the deceased was due to return to Kenya and relocate to the United States with his family where he had secured Green Card status. The widow and children following the accident based themselves in the United States.

We investigated the pursuit of a significant claim for loss of dependency on earnings, services etc in relation to the lifestyle that the deceased could have engineered for his family in the United States had the accident not occurred. We were successful in both establishing liability for the accident and then securing a substantial compensation award which enabled the widow and children to make a new start for themselves in the United States.
