Written by Moore Blatch | Sep 5, 2017 7:58:00 AM
We acted for and recovered damages of £750,000.00 for a client who was injured in a work accident while working offshore on an oil rig. Due to negligence on the part of his employers and/or the occupiers of the rig, our client sustained significant orthopaedic and burn injuries. As a result of the injuries he sustained in the accident he developed significant PTSD. As a result of the significant PTSD symptoms he attempted to take his own life. In doing so he sustained further significant injuries including a leg amputation.

Through the instruction of 12 medical and non-medical experts we were able to pursue a significant claim against the Defendants who finally settled the claim following the institution of court proceedings.
