£150,000 client ran off the road in a “road rage” incident

We have recently settled a case for a client who sustained a serious arm injury when he was run off the road in 2006.
When the car came off the road, it overturned several times leading to a crushing injury to his left arm. Whilst he made a good recovery, he has been left with a very unsightly and sensitive scar.

At the time of the accident, the client was training to be a Chef. The medical experts on both sides agreed that due to the sensitive nature of the scarring, he was unable to resume that career. The settlement reflected the fact that he was now left in a position where he had to retrain for a different sort of career which may not be so lucrative.
